The Amazing Spiderman 2

Watched the Amazing Spiderman 2 today and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was much better than the first one, and honestly I think it’s the best Spiderman movie to date including the original trilogy. The acting was very good, Andrew Garfield is a much better Spiderman than Tobey Maguire, he’s very funny and nails all the emotional scenes. His chemistry with Emma Stone is second to none. Jamie Foxx and Dane DeHaan were fantastic as well, they both did really good job portraying the villains. Their characters aren’t just evil, they are relatable, you understand why they do what they do. I do wish they’d spent more time focused on Electro though, I find his character fascinating. There were a few plot holes and some over the top scenes but it’s understandable, they had to fit a lot into a limited amount of time. As always the action scenes were beautifully shot and really well made. There were more than a handful of emotional moments in the movie and they all got to me. This movie will make you laugh, it will make you cry, it will make you cheer, etc. Simply put it is just a very very good movie. 4/5
